Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Union. As a Patient Access Representative II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient access services, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Complete patient registration, scheduling, and pre-admission processes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive experience and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Financial Clearance: Verify patient insurance, benefits, and eligibility, and obtain necessary authorizations for scheduled and unscheduled hospital services.
  • Medical Necessity Checks: Secure medical necessity checks and verification in accordance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Experience: 0-1 year in a customer service role; 0-1 year administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in PC/CRT/printer; knowledge of medical terminology and hospital environment preferred.
