Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure and manage supplies and equipment needed for patient care, ensuring timely delivery and adequate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular rounds of the unit to identify and address any issues or concerns, including environmental safety, cleanliness, and infection control.
  • Train and orient staff on supplies, equipment, safety, and infection control procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and logs to track quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in budget administration activities and represent the unit on various committees, such as the Safety Committee.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree in Health Sciences or a related field.
  • At least two years of recent related clinical support work experience, preferably within the assigned clinical specialty area.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
