Exciting Opportunity for a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in Belmont, CA


Celebrations Speech Group is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, in-person role in Belmont, CA. Join a supportive and collaborative team working with preschool to 8th-grade students in a vibrant school environment. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and overall development.

About the Role
  • Caseload: Manage a caseload of 35-55 students.
  • Grade Levels: Work with students from preschool through 8th grade.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (with flexibility of +/- 30 minutes).
Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately.
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and goals.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications
  • Required: Current California Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude, with a passion for working with diverse student populations.
