Sales Development Representative

The Sales Associate position at Storr Office Environments is a training program that equips you with the skills necessary to excel in a lucrative full-time sales role. As a Sales Development Representative, you will assist the architectural walls sales team in their daily activities, handle incidental/small sales opportunities, and develop the knowledge/skills required to be a successful account manager.
Job Responsibilities:- Primary Duties:
- Assist the Sales team in their daily activities.
- Meet with walk-in/call-in prospects, learn about their needs, identify the product/service solution, and prepare a quotation.
- Develop knowledge of the products and services marketed by Storr.
- Develop selling skills necessary to be an effective account manager.
- Complete assigned training goals.
- Gain a working knowledge of internal systems and processes at Storr.
- Achieve quarterly sales goal and activities.
- Achieve targeted customer survey scores and accuracy goals.
- Responsibilities:
- Meet with walk-in/call-in customers, listen, and ask questions to determine their needs to position the proper solution.
- Create quotes for walk-ins/call-in customers and follow up on outstanding quotes regularly.
- Input selling activity into the CRM.
- Coordinate order fulfillment on orders booked under your name.
- Support Account Managers:
- Product research and selection.
- Site visits.
- Customer meetings.
- Create proposals and presentations.
- Bid responses.
- Mock-ups.
- Gather vendor information.
- Keep showroom space clean and organized.
- Gain product knowledge and selling skills to transition into an account manager role within 12-18 months.
- Proficient in reading AutoCAD drawings.
- Ability to manage relationships with customers, general contractors, and key influencers.
- Ability to deliver knowledge-based expertise and consulting that adds value, and separates Storr.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated creative ability and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with budget discussions, construction processes, contracts, margins, etc.
- Enjoys client interaction and can engage in a 'sales' discussion.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-energy, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
