About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Director to join our team at Akcelo. As a key member of our Client Services leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth across our client portfolio and overseeing senior-level client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic account planning and x-functional team leadership to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute growth plans, negotiate retainers, and resolve C-Level issues to drive business success.
  • Manage client communications, presentations, and stakeholder meetings to deliver exceptional project management and agency output quality.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships grounded in expert understanding of their business and hold strong relationships internally to drive agency capabilities.
  • Work with the PM to lead WIP meetings and set timings for projects to ensure expectations are clear and met.
  • Mentor, grow, and oversee junior team members to drive team performance.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in an Account Management role at an advertising agency.
  • Strong integrated experience, with a self-starter mindset and a love for solving problems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proud of delivering work to the highest standards.
  • A valid passport and ability to travel internationally.

About Our Office

Our Vancouver office is optimized for collaboration and located on the top floor of a historic post and beam building bordering the financial district and Gastown. This position requires regular travel to client offices in Canada and the United States.
