We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at OU Health. As a Sr PSR, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our OB/GYN clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, manage clinic schedules, and provide information about clinic operations.
- Check In/Check Out: Greet patients, process payments, and ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters.
- Filing and Organization: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, files, and records.
- Referrals and Authorizations: Verify insurance eligibility, secure referrals, and communicate with patients regarding financial accounts.
- Miscellaneous: Perform various administrative tasks, including supply management, mail distribution, and typing notes and letters.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1.5 years of experience in customer service, including at least 6 months in a clinical environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
