Position Overview:
The Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, executing clerical and administrative duties, and assisting in the distribution of pharmaceutical products. This role offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth and is designed to facilitate a transition into a pharmacy technician position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage professionally with patients and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications with patients, healthcare providers, insurance representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Process payment transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation of daily financial activities.
- Order and manage inventory of medications, including processing returns.
- Stock and organize pharmaceutical products on shelves.
- Handle Return-to-Stock (RTS) medications efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of pharmacy supplies and order as necessary.
- Accurately type prescription labels and input prescription data into the record-keeping system.
- Verify and re-verify insurance coverage for patients.
- Organize and maintain pharmacy records, including invoices and prescriptions.
- Coordinate the delivery of prescriptions to patients.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Actively embody the company's core values and objectives.

Work Schedule:
Typical pharmacy hours include weekdays and Saturdays, with specific operational hours.

Candidate Profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Relevant experience in retail, customer service, or cashiering, preferably within a pharmacy setting.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, inventory management software, and order processing systems.
- Strong typing and data entry capabilities.
- Ability to lift and transport light to medium-weight items.
- Capable of multitasking and maintaining organization in a dynamic work environment.
- Proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Dependable with a proven record of attendance.
- Willingness to assist at other locations as needed.
- Positive demeanor, energetic, adaptable, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
