Resident Care Specialist

St. Joseph Center is seeking a dedicated Resident Monitor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our program participants.
The Resident Monitor will be responsible for providing direct client service, ensuring fair procedures and practices, and providing information and referrals to program participants. This is a full-time exempt position with a pay range of $22-$24/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Client Service (90%):
- Ensure fair procedures and practices, as well as safety within the site
- Provide information and referrals to program participants
- Distribute clothing, linens, toiletries, and any other items supplied by the program as needed
- Report any maintenance or janitorial needs to the Shift Manager or Project Coordinator in a timely manner
- Conduct site, neighborhood, and perimeter checks
- Handle all emergencies by contacting appropriate staff/agencies
- Report any incidents and complete an incident report
- Conduct business according with employee handbook exercising judgement and serving the best interests of the agency and community
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid California Class C Driver License
- Valid automobile liability insurance
