We are currently seeking a Lead Embedded Systems Engineer to join our Memory Subsystem Team.

NVIDIA's SoC Memory Subsystem team is in search of inquisitive, collaborative, and driven hardware engineers to advance our memory subsystem from initial silicon power-on to full-scale production.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop firmware for NVLINK-C2C, including validation and debugging of firmware and silicon integration for NVIDIA products.
  • Engage in Boot architecture and security considerations for NVLINK-C2C interfaces.
  • Create architectural specifications for microcontrollers/processors utilized in boot and runtime operations.
  • Plan and execute NVLINK-C2C interfaces, validation, and feature activation on NVIDIA products.
  • Implement low power states, RAS, and telemetry functionalities.
  • Utilize your expertise in digital and analog systems, computer architecture, and debugging to address complex challenges.
  • Enhance our interface integration and validation strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on embedded systems (or equivalent experience).
  • Over 6 years of demonstrated experience in Boot architecture and firmware development.
  • Strong RTL and digital design capabilities.
  • Familiarity with high-speed IO interfaces is advantageous.
  • Proficient coding skills in C/C++/Python.
  • Solid understanding of data structures.
  • Knowledge of ASIL processes and workflows is a plus.
  • Experience with PC systems, Windows OS, and Linux.
  • Exceptional debugging skills, with the ability to deconstruct problems based on fundamental principles.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-disciplinary teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to take on various responsibilities throughout the product lifecycle.

Preferred Attributes:
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as C, C++, JAVA, Python, or Perl.
  • Experience in embedded firmware development.
  • A deep understanding of technology and a passion for your work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to guide and influence within a dynamic environment.


The base salary range is competitive and will be determined based on your location, experience, and the compensation of employees in similar roles. Additionally, you will be eligible for equity and benefits.
