Position Overview:

Role Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded, posted, processed, and reported. The individual will manage daily operations to maintain precise general ledgers. This position involves uploading, analyzing, and processing journal entries, as well as performing and reviewing standard month-end entries. The role also entails communicating and documenting accounting procedures for specialized financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops, modifies, and tests financial reports.
  • Assesses production issues for escalation and resolution.
  • Engages with users to provide solutions for enhancements, updates, and testing.
  • Manages access to reporting tools.
  • Collaborates with Finance & Accounting systems and IT on production challenges.
  • Evaluates test data and offers feedback to management, Finance & Accounting Systems, and project teams.
  • Works closely with both internal and external auditors.
  • Reviews processed data related to fixed assets and leases to ensure accurate statutory, managerial, and product-level reporting.
  • Analyzes financial variances.
  • Identifies, develops, and implements process enhancements.
  • Contributes to cross-training critical functions within the department as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent international qualification - Preferred
  • Willingness to travel if necessary for training or project assignments
  • Familiarity with internal systems and tools - Preferred
  • Experience in creating and generating reports using Microsoft products or similar software - Preferred
  • Understanding of general accounting and/or finance processes - Preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting processes including statutory, managerial, product-level, and network models - Preferred
  • Position requires presence in the office.
