Job Title: Senior MFT Specialist

MDMS Recruiting is seeking a seasoned Senior MFT Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and automating file transfer infrastructure, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data files to intended recipients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust and scalable file transfer infrastructure, including protocols, encryption methods, and security controls.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive batch job scheduling systems, ensuring timely execution of scheduled jobs and monitoring for successful completion.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate file transfer and batch job scheduling processes with existing systems and applications.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations during file transfers, implementing and enforcing best practices to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and stakeholders for file transfer and batch job scheduling-related issues.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Tibco MFT experience in Unix and Windows enterprise environments.
  • Proven hands-on experience in managed file transfer protocols and technologies such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, AS2, and secure file transfer methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in file transfer protocols, E2E development/testing of MFT flows, and industry standards for secure file transmission, network requirements, and API enablement.
  • Strong understanding of batch job scheduling concepts, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Stonebranch, CA7, Cron)
  • Solid knowledge of scripting languages such as shell scripting, JavaScript, web programming like HTML and JSP, Python, Ansible, SQL stored procedures for MS SQL Server and workflow development
  • Familiarity with PGP and SFTP/SSH encryption algorithms, data security, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR) is a MUST
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to file transfers and batch job execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
