You will also prepare financial reports, invoices, schedules, and statements, and complete journal entries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and reconcile budgets, financial reports, and other financial documents.
  • Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with University policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Provide guidance and training to entry-level accountants and other staff members.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
  • Two years of accounting experience or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in advanced spreadsheet and database operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Banner, Concur, and buyBama within Academic Affairs.
