The Specialized Relationships Group (SRG) operates within the Investor Services Branch Network and is dedicated to catering to clients across diverse segments through both individualized and collaborative relationship frameworks. The Schwab Financial Solutions Branch, a component of SRG, focuses on serving Mass Affluent investors.

This extension of the Branch Network collaborates closely with both new and existing Mass Affluent clients to enhance engagement, foster trust, and deliver investment solutions tailored for contemporary markets. The Financial Solutions Branch will work in tandem with various departments and partners, including local branches, to ensure clients maximize their relationship with Schwab.

Financial Consultants in the Financial Solutions Branch are responsible for promoting engagement, nurturing relationships, and securing long-term client loyalty within Schwab's mass affluent clientele. Through active engagement, you will support client outreach, retention efforts, and enhance overall client satisfaction, positioning yourself as a vital resource in guiding clients toward financial success.

As a Financial Consultant in the Financial Solutions Branch, your role will involve advocating for your clients by actively listening to their needs, understanding their priorities, and collaborating with a team of internal specialists to help clients achieve their financial objectives. You will confidently provide wealth management recommendations, advisory insights, and discuss timely topics to drive meaningful outcomes for your clients. Additionally, you will grow and maintain your practice by addressing client needs, supporting asset consolidation, and continuing to partner with clients throughout their financial journey.

Your Typical Day Includes:

  • Client outreach and planning discussions
  • Virtual client presentations and market trend discussions
  • Collaboration with business partners and sharing best practices within your branch
  • Enhanced client engagement through digital advancements in the Schwab platform

When Meeting with Clients, You Will:

  • Be Curious and Consultative: Explore all aspects of your clients' needs, view situations from their perspective, and recommend suitable solutions to help them stay aligned with their financial goals.
  • Be a Trusted Advisor: Cultivate strong relationships, foster trust, and deepen client connections through a focused communication strategy that exceeds expectations.
  • Have a Defined Process: Showcase your ability to utilize technology and deliver appropriate advice through a structured sales process that addresses client needs.
  • Use Your Team and Ability to Influence: Leverage Schwab specialists, advice guidelines, market knowledge, and your ability to inspire action to help clients progress toward their goals.
  • Be a Challenger: Partner with and educate clients by discussing market conditions, sound investing principles, and ideal long-term investment strategies tailored to their unique situations.

What You Have:

  • Active FINRA Series 7, Series 66 (63/65) license, and Life & Health Insurance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of financial experience is preferred.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A quick learner with the ability to navigate various technologies and systems.
  • A willingness to engage in ongoing coaching and development for positive client outcomes and career growth.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities effectively.
  • A learning mindset to understand all Schwab products and services.
  • A robust Schwab network to address client concerns effectively.
