About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Research Nurse Interventionist. This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical evaluations and interventions, utilizing professional clinical knowledge and skills to evaluate participant responses and make subsequent decisions around patient safety and participation issues.
  • Develop and implement project intervention plans and tools, data collection instruments, and manual of operations, ensuring high-quality data collection and participant safety.
  • Collaborate with research project teams, attending project meetings, and identifying problems and proposing solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Perform medical record reviews, telephone interviews, and in-person interviews, utilizing professional clinical background and education to ensure accurate data collection and interpretation.
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience performing professional functions required by the project.
  • Certifications, licenses, or degrees as determined by the needs of the research projects, such as registered nurse, nurse practitioner, certified mental health therapist/specialist, MSW, pharmacist, physical therapist, certified health education specialist, clinical psychologist, acupuncturist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree or PhD in health-related field.
