Key Responsibilities- Administering anesthesia to patients before or during procedures
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to physicians or other staff members
- Preparing patients for procedures by explaining the procedure, preparing them physically, and setting up equipment
- Preparing and arranging equipment for procedures such as MRI scans and X-rays
- Preparing patients for diagnostic imaging studies such as MRI scans and CT scans
- Performing interventional procedures such as biopsies or therapeutic interventions
- Assisting physicians with procedures by holding retractors, suctioning blood, and removing specimens
- Performing image analysis and reporting test results to physicians
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and a ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
