Job Summary

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Providence Health & Services, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Your expertise and proficiency in assisting various physician types, including Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Neurosurgeons, will be essential in achieving desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in the growth and development of the Diagnostic Imaging department, contributing ideas and suggestions for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Two years of community college or vocational training in a certified radiological technologist training program or equivalent education/experience.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of previous experience in special procedures and/or cardiac catheterization, with responsibilities for assisting on Angiographic and other high-risk procedures.
  • Healthcare-related Bachelor's Degree.
  • ARRT Credentials in Vascular Interventional Radiography.
