About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst - Pricing and Bid Expert to join our team at HNI Corporation. As a key member of our pricing and bid team, you will be responsible for analyzing and processing competitive project requests, maintaining profitability, competitiveness, and compliance with sound business practices and internal pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of requests, including detailed discussions with internal sales teams and the dealer network.
  • Financial Analysis and Recommendations: Provide financial analysis of bid requests, detailing project profit and loss calculations, and present completed pricing analysis and recommendations to management in a clear and factual manner.
  • Value-Added Opportunities: Consult with field teams to identify enhanced value-added opportunities.
  • Bid Request Validation: Ensure all bid requests are legitimate, accurate, and complete.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of profit and loss statements.
  • Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills: Ability to provide critical thinking and apply analytical skills in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiation skills preferred.
