Overview:
As a Guest Services Associate, you will warmly welcome our guests, ensuring a positive experience from their arrival to their departure. You will be the first point of contact for guests and the last to bid them farewell.

Responsibilities:
- Assist guests with their luggage and escort them to their rooms.


- Provide information about hotel amenities, their locations, and operational hours, while addressing any inquiries regarding these facilities.

- Manage luggage storage for guests, both for day use and overnight stays.

- Maintain a designated area in the lobby, remaining attentive to guest needs.

- Open doors and greet guests with warmth and courtesy.

- Ensure the cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby, and baggage area, including keeping doors and windows clean when not engaged with guests.

- Update the daily events and entertainment boards in the lobby.

- Maintain effective communication across shifts through proper use of the intershift log.

- Deliver messages and valet services to guest rooms.


- Provide timely and friendly transportation to and from the airport for guests, ensuring vehicle inspections.

- Perform valet duties as needed.

- Assist the front desk with key inventory on a bi-weekly basis.

- Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for work.

- Carry out any other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Previous hotel experience is preferred.

- Strong communication skills to interact with guests, respond to inquiries, and possess knowledge of hotel services and local events.

- Ability to operate vans, limousines, and automobiles with a clean driving record as verified by a Motor Vehicle Report, with or without reasonable accommodation.


- Capability to interpret information from luggage tags and claim checks to accurately document numbers and names.


- Physical ability to lift, carry, or move packages, boxes, and luggage weighing up to 75 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.


- Ability to stand, walk, and sit while performing essential job functions continuously, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Perform tasks that require bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to various audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
