Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Liaison Specialist to support our outside sales team in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring successful project outcomes. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in pre-construction meetings with customers, sales, operations management, and quality control to ensure project success
- Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve issues, and provide solutions to meet their needs
- Maintain accurate records and reports on job site issues, driver performance, and product problems
- Train with sales, quality control, and operations personnel to stay up-to-date on technical updates and industry standards
- Communicate effectively with sales, quality control, and customer service personnel to coordinate project efforts
- Establish strong relationships with customers to promote CEMEX's products and services
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and comply with company standards and government regulations
- Manage time effectively to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and market research
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (sales, marketing, communications, social sciences) or equivalent experience
- Proficient in business systems (Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and accurate with ability to handle large volumes of data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingsness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to talk and hear, and function safely around heavy rolling equipment
- Continuous exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors
- Must wear protective equipment while on the job site
Physical Requirements:
- Requires stationary position, walking, and standing for brief periods
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
- Regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate with employees and visitors
