As a Corporate Compliance Research Specialist, you will assist the Office of Corporate Compliance in managing and executing the CCHS Compliance Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director of Research Compliance in developing and overseeing the Compliance Program.
  • Support the identification and analysis of risk areas.
  • Facilitate the administration of the research compliance program through the integration of organization-wide compliance initiatives, including educational programs, policy formulation, risk assessment, and monitoring.
  • Conduct routine and targeted monitoring of research studies and processes, identifying and aiding in corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Address compliance complaints and inquiries, ensuring thorough investigation of all compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with Institute, Department, and Hospital compliance representatives to develop, implement, and maintain effective Research Compliance Programs.
  • Stay updated on compliance laws, regulations, and research trends.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Preferred certifications in healthcare or compliance, or research certifications such as CHRC within two years of hire.

Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently. Must be capable of functioning in a high-pressure environment and taking appropriate actions.


Preferred Experience:
  • A minimum of five years of recent experience in healthcare compliance, research, billing, coding, reimbursement, or information management is highly preferred.

Work Experience:
  • Three years of recent experience in healthcare compliance, auditing, billing, coding, reimbursement, or information management is required.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is anticipated to be between $30.41 and $46.38 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as work history, experience, skill set, and education. This does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package, which encompasses healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement options.
