Job Overview

Electronic Merchant Systems is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Research and Resolution: Conduct thorough research to identify and resolve compliance issues, ensuring our company remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Client Support: Collaborate with clients to address account-related issues and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Document Review and Analysis: Review and analyze legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • File Management: Pull and upload file documentation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Counsel Liaison: Serve as a liaison between outside counsel and upper management, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Act as a subject matter expert for the Client Services team, providing guidance and support on compliance-related matters.
  • Escalated Issues: Serve as a point of contact for escalated issues, resolving complex problems and ensuring timely resolution.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the banking or financial industry.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated and organized with strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.
