Overview:
This Senior Associate role is pivotal within a prominent foundation dedicated to enhancing community welfare and advancing philanthropic efforts nationwide. The organization acts as a facilitator for both grantors and grantees, overseeing the comprehensive management of charitable initiatives of varying scales. This position entails providing grants administration for a diverse array of fiscal sponsorship projects on a national scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison between the organization and grantors/grantees to effectively manage grant-funded initiatives.
  • Monitor the progress of projects and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and engagement.
  • Oversee a portfolio of fiscal sponsorship projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a connection point between the foundation and external collaborators, including grantors and project grantees.
  • Offer expertise on IRS regulations and guidelines pertinent to foundations and funds.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing operational processes.
  • Collaborate with the finance team as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Approximately 4+ years of experience in an operational or programmatic capacity within the nonprofit, foundation, or public sector.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Exceptional project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • A strong commitment to making a positive impact in communities.
  • Familiarity with grants administration and CRM software is advantageous.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting is a plus.
