Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Coordinator to join our team at the City of North Miami Beach, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, and monitoring grants to support our community programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on available government, corporate, and private foundation grants
  • Coordinate and assist with grant applications, proposals, and budgets
  • Prepare agenda items for City Commission consideration
  • Monitor grant fiscal records for compliance with local, state, and federal policies
  • Implement and maintain automated tracking of grant status
  • Coordinate with other governmental agencies and community organizations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Three years of grant development experience with a proven record of results-oriented grant writing, policy, program development, and contract funding
  • Knowledge of grant processes, including accounting and financial reporting
  • Proficient in financial management software and databases
