Job Title: Community Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to join our team at Quality Management Group. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for leading the overall administration, compliance, and maintenance of our properties, while striving to maintain 100% occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the administration, compliance, and maintenance of the property
  • Assume proactive behavior and measures to properly represent Quality Management Group
  • Manage office supply inventory and work closely with Resident Services to ensure maintenance supplies are purchased in a timely manner
  • Ensure work orders are processed in Yardi within established timelines
  • Accurately account for and balance petty cash in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare deposits for banking and post resident payments into Yardi within timelines established by management
  • Manage account receivables and ensure past resident balance due receivables are turned over to collection agencies
  • Oversee a minimum of 1-3 employees and train and be responsible for work performed by all staff members under their direction
  • Perform written evaluations of employees and maintain accurate payroll records as required by the company
Requirements:
  • Current/previous Section 8 voucher experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Tax Credit
  • Minimum of 2 years or more in a supervisory role overseeing other employees
  • Minimum 2-5 years working in a position with comparable responsibilities
  • Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
  • YARDI property management accounting software expertise
  • Formal instruction/designations such as a Certified Occupancy Specialist
  • Financial management
  • Proficient in English language in verbal and written communications and in writing reports
  • Computer literacy in Outlook, Word, Excel, and the Internet
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance to operate vehicles for company business
