We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team. As a Training and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting field Caregiver orientation and continuing education for assigned areas.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts training for field employees and maintains documentation
  • Performs skills training and conducts competency evaluations of field staff at assigned service site(s)
  • Provides ongoing training support related to required skills
  • Schedules training per assessed needs
  • Notifies employees 30 days prior to any expiration dates to ensure up-to-date training records
  • Maintains supplies for all scheduled training
  • Manages records of training activities
  • Monitors and reports effectiveness of training efforts and programs
  • Ensures employees are comfortable and able to focus on learning and that the employee education process is as positive as possible

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified Nursing Assistant with current certification
  • Minimum of two years' experience working in a facility-based healthcare setting or community home health performing the tasks required under the Home Services Agency license within the last five years
  • Preferred experience training or mentoring other CNAs
  • Knowledge and experience of caregiving responsibilities
  • Travel required using company-provided vehicle and must have a good driving record

USD $18.50 / Hour
