About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining In-Building Wireless Systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform site surveys to identify optimal installation locations for In-Building Wireless Systems
  • Install, configure, and test In-Building Wireless Systems, including DAS, Wi-Fi, and small cell equipment
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure seamless integration of In-Building Wireless Systems with existing infrastructure
  • Conduct daily reporting to management on project status and progress
  • Travel to customer sites to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in wireless infrastructure installation and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of In-Building Wireless Systems, including DAS, Wi-Fi, and small cell technology
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel
  • OSHA 10/30 certification and scissor lift certification
  • First aid, CPR, and AED training
