Job Description

CLMI Group LLC is seeking a skilled Project Controls Scheduler III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining detailed construction planning schedules for new construction and renovation work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project schedule submittals by Design and Contractor Teams
  • Perform independent analysis of submitted schedules for Owner, ensuring all schedule submittal meet or exceed the requirements set forth by the contracts
  • Facilitate coordination on interface issues between multiple projects
  • Ensure submitted schedules follow LAWA project code and activity code structure
  • Identify, understand and apply the relevant sections of the contract to each claim
  • Assist with change order and claims disputes
  • Complete analyses of contractors delay claims and related time impact analyses within context of the contract documents and industry practice

Requirements:

  • 10 years or more of scheduling experience with 5 plus years in direct support of an active construction project
  • Direct forensic scheduling experience to support claims analysis on large-scale, complex heavy civil, vertical and horizontal projects
  • Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Design/Build
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling for multiple concurrent and interrelated projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical and schedule related information in oral and written form to non-expert audiences

Education/Training:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related technical field required
  • Relevant Professional Licensure & Certifications are strongly preferred

Work Environment:

  • This is a salaried position based on 40 hours per week at the applicable all-in labor rate.
  • This is a Monday-Friday full-time position in the office or on the project site at LAX
  • After hours or weekend work may be required to perform the duties of the position. This shall be considered part of the salary

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $144,000 - $160,000.
