Job Title: Project Scheduler

Pacific Services is seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our Program & Project Controls department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining program schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on project timelines and milestones.
  • Review and verify contractor schedule submissions, providing detailed written comments and ensuring all work scope is properly identified and logically sequenced.
  • Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals, reviewing critical path, cost loading, resource loading, and schedule content.
  • Conduct schedule Time Impact Analysis for change orders affecting the construction schedule, negotiating with the OAR and contractor for delay time settlements.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings to determine work scope and understand contract terms and conditions.
  • Perform Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis to ensure project schedules are accurate and achievable.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, project teams, and upper management regarding schedule-related matters and concerns.
  • Ensure proper use of Program-level standard codes, layouts, and reports to maintain data integrity.
Requirements:
  • Eight (8) years of full-time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in educational facilities or public works projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera 15.1 or above and MS Office Suite.
Education:
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.

OR

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in any course, but with additional two (2) years of experience in Construction Scheduling to compensate for the required education.
Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff.
  • Understanding of theories, principles, and practices of cost engineering, scheduling, and schedule forensics.
