Position Overview: Territory Sales Representative – Transmission Distribution
The Territory Sales Representative plays a vital role in propelling the growth of the company by overseeing and enhancing strategic accounts within a designated territory. This position is dedicated to a specific business segment, ensuring that sales objectives and revenue goals are not only met but surpassed.

By fostering and developing relationships with both existing and prospective clients, the Territory Sales Representative will be key in positioning the company as a frontrunner in the Cable and Pipe Transit Seals market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture multiple strategic accounts within a designated business segment and territory, ensuring a tailored, relationship-focused approach.
  • Formulate and execute personalized strategies that cater to the unique needs of each account, driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive strategic plan aimed at capturing market share across the assigned geographic area.
  • Assess sales potential, prepare budgets, and maintain accurate sales tracking.
  • Build and sustain a robust sales opportunity pipeline to achieve annual growth targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, offering insights and strategies to enhance revenue generation.
  • Utilize CRM software as the primary tool for managing daily sales activities, including pre-call plans, detailed contact management, quotations, and project management.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the specific business segment, remaining informed about market trends, customer requirements, and the competitive landscape.
  • Create detailed action plans at the account level to determine optimal approaches based on application, industry knowledge, and key differentiators.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and developments within the industry and region.
  • Use market insights to identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the strategic accounts portfolio.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within strategic accounts, ensuring ongoing engagement and loyalty.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product installation training to diverse audiences.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales; technical and/or project sales experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of the time.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills are essential.
