We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate shipment movements.
  • Address customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate channels.
  • Handle incoming requests from both internal and external customers via various communication methods.
  • Utilize dispatch software to assign routes and orders accurately, ensuring all necessary information is included for delivery and billing.
  • Oversee drivers to meet performance standards and efficiency metrics.
  • Inform clients proactively about potential delivery delays.
  • Employ dispatch software daily to convert shipment data into actionable routes and orders.
  • Communicate with drivers and supervisors to obtain delivery updates as needed.
  • Perform essential warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Provide quotes for various delivery services.
  • Fill in for routes as necessary.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Work Schedule:

This position typically operates from Tuesday to Saturday, 6 AM to 3 PM, with hours subject to change based on operational needs.

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $21 to $23.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage schedules and routes.
  • Proficient in computer usage for scheduling and dispatching tasks.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
Working Conditions:
  • Primarily a sedentary role with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions when outside or driving.
Education and Experience:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative capacity.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Work Authorization:

Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
