We are seeking a qualified Logistics Coordinator to enhance our operations.

A Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that products reach consumers efficiently and promptly. This position encompasses managing dispatching, overseeing warehouse activities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with transportation providers to guarantee timely and accurate shipment movements.
  • Address customer inquiries and direct clients to appropriate resources.
  • Handle incoming requests from both internal and external customers via phone or email.
  • Utilize dispatch software to assign routes and orders accurately, ensuring all delivery and billing information is correct.
  • Oversee drivers to meet punctuality and efficiency standards, achieving company performance benchmarks.
  • Inform clients in advance about potential delivery delays.
  • Employ dispatch software daily to convert shipment data into actionable routes and orders.
  • Communicate with drivers and supervisors as necessary to obtain delivery updates.
  • Execute standard warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, cycle counting, data entry, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Provide quotes for Courier, Box Truck, and Freight delivery services.
  • Fill in for routes as required.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.

Work Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 6 AM to 3 PM. Hours may vary based on business needs.

*Candidates should have flexible availability to accommodate potential night and weekend shifts.

Compensation: $21-$23 per hour

Required Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage schedules, routes, and personnel.
  • Proficient computer skills for scheduling and dispatching tasks.
  • Able to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.

Travel & Work Conditions:

  • Primarily sedentary work.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions when outside or driving.

Education and Experience:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in an administrative role is necessary.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.

Work Authorization:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without any sponsorship.
