We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Vice Provost for International Engagement at InsideHigherEd. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of international education and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the university's international agenda and internationalization efforts.
  • Lead the development of global partnerships and collaborations with universities and institutions abroad.
  • Oversee the management of international research and education programs, including sponsored students, scholars, and employees.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Office of International Studies and Programs.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to promote international education and research initiatives.
Requirements
  • Doctorate in International Relations or a related field.
  • Proven experience in global engagement and international research and education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in culturally diverse communities and promote inclusive excellence.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in academic administration, resource management, and program formation.
  • Knowledge of evolving patterns of international collaborations between universities and global partners.
  • Demonstrated understanding of issues involved in effective delivery of high-quality international research, outreach, and instructional programs.
