About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. As a key member of our radiation therapy department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and safety of our patients' treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate and maintain radiation therapy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform complex calculations and treatment plan dosimetry to ensure accurate patient doses.
  • Verify patient doses and perform chart checks to ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Medical Physics or a related field.
  • Experience in medical radiation physics and therapeutic radiological physics.
  • Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics from the American Board of Radiology.
