Radiation Physics Services for Pediatric Patients

As a Research Physicist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, you will perform radiation physics services for pediatric patients in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Your duties will include coordinating and interacting with appropriate personnel to ensure the delivery of accurate radiation doses to pediatric patients. You will also participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures in radiation physics and radiation safety to facilitate accurate and safe delivery of radiation doses in accordance with acceptable protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned radiation physics duties to ensure accurate radiation doses to pediatric patients
  • Participate in development and implementation of policies and procedures in radiation physics and radiation safety
  • Participate in budget preparation and equipment specifications and purchases
  • Organize and document all radiation physics records
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement/control activities

Requirements
  • MS or PhD in Physical Sciences required
  • Four (4) years of experience with MS in Physics
  • Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by Law
