Position Title: Preschool Education Support Specialist

As a Preschool Education Support Specialist at Primrose School of Johns Creek, you will play a vital role in fostering the growth and development of young learners in a nurturing and engaging atmosphere. We seek a committed individual who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and dedicated to the comprehensive development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and interact with a group of children during daily activities
  • Comply with all regulations related to child care and safety
  • Evaluate and respond to each child's developmental requirements
  • Execute educational programs in alignment with Primrose's Balanced Learning philosophy
  • Work collaboratively with team members for parent-teacher discussions
  • Maintain an inspiring and orderly classroom setting
  • Provide encouragement and establish clear behavior expectations
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and school functions as necessary
  • Assist with additional responsibilities as directed by the Director
Qualifications:
  • Fulfill the requirements set by local child care regulatory authorities
  • Prior experience in early childhood education is advantageous
  • Awareness of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
  • Capability to lift up to 35 lbs. and manage emergency situations
  • Associate degree in early childhood education or a related discipline (for Infant-Preschool educators)
