Position Overview:

The Retail Sales Representative plays a crucial role in embodying the essence of the Forever 21 brand, ensuring that every customer enjoys a vibrant and memorable shopping experience. This position requires a positive demeanor and a service-oriented mindset to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere as customers enter and exit the store.
  • Promptly address customer inquiries and fulfill their needs.
  • Actively seek opportunities to elevate the customer experience.
  • Assist customers in locating, assessing, and selecting merchandise.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to engage with customers.
  • Communicate current promotions, credit card offers, and brand initiatives to cultivate customer loyalty.
  • Adhere to the Company’s Customer FIRST model: Friendly Greeting, Identifying Needs, Responding, Suggesting and Styling, and Thanking.
  • Process sales transactions accurately while maintaining accountability at the registers.
  • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain a positive narrative about the brand, customers, and team members.
  • Exhibit initiative, teamwork, and ownership in every customer interaction.
  • Uphold visual standards for the sales floor, fitting rooms, and displays.
  • Contribute to daily store recovery efforts, whether before, during, or after store hours.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and loss prevention strategies.
  • Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to management for process improvements.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Support all cross-functional departments as needed.
  • Help establish the tone and standards that enhance customer satisfaction and promote brand recognition in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age requirement of 16 years.
  • Preferred experience includes at least one year in retail sales and cash handling.
  • Must possess an energetic and charismatic personality.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to act with integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficient in completing sales transactions using a POS register system.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 100% of the work time.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions and various physical tasks.
