Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Analyst to support our team in Washington, DC. As an Acquisition Analyst, you will provide advice and recommendations for options, strategies, and risks to assist the Program Office with preparation of Acquisition Plans (APs), Acquisition Strategies (ASs), and other acquisition planning documents for Government final approval.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessments on relevant cost, schedule, and risk factors.
  • Coordinate and interface with NAVSEA customer, industry, and government partners, and other project stakeholders.
  • Work both in a team environment and independently, often under short, multiple deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Customer-oriented and a team player.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship for consideration.
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM area.
  • Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Five to seven years of experience in DoD or Navy acquisition.
  • Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.
Desired Experience and Skills:
  • Recent experience in Team Submarine.
  • Experience with Deep Submergence Systems (DSS).
  • DAU Program Management Level II or III.
  • Experience in the Navy and specifically within Team Submarine or on-board submarines.
