National Sales Representative

h3Job Description/h3pAs a National Sales Representative at Weinstein Wholesale Meats, LLC, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers, ensuring timely and effective communication, and providing superior customer service./ppbKey Responsibilities:/b/pulliUnderstand vendor capacities, limitations, and forecasted opportunities from suppliers./liliMaintain market outlook and view with actionable deliverables./liliEnsure daily analysis of market trends and data./liliMonitor and own all aspects of the transaction; sale, shipment, account receivable (collections), and all post-sale and post-shipment follow-up./liliGenerate new sales opportunities./liliCross-sell new products to our current customer base through MPI Distribution./liliAssist in national distribution sales of Barn to Butcher brand./liliNegotiate prices with suppliers to maximize profitability./liliEnsure suppliers and customers are properly set up with required QA documentation, credit profiles, contracts, and any other pertinent detail required by internal audit./liliDevelop and enhance customer and supplier relationships by providing superior communication and timely follow-through./liliMaintain awareness of all costs, including truck and storage rates, to make effective decisions on commodity movements./liliService customer and supplier needs as requested, able to respond with urgency, problem-solving quickly as required./liliSupport the department by reporting to business leaders in regular cadence on opportunities, wins, and losses./liliPartner with management to understand broad sense of costs and opportunities to enhance margins./liliProvide backup for other product categories as required./li/ulpbRequirements:/b/pulliDeep understanding of commodity proteins./liliA recent book of business./liliMeat experience./lili5-7 years of outside/inside sales experience (preferred)./liliSelf-starter in a highly competitive industry./liliSuperior communication and presentation skills./liliExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills./liliDemonstrated initiative, urgency, commitment, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously./liliSpanish speaking a plus./liliDemonstrated ability to manage conflict, build consensus, and facilitate problem-solving in a matrix environment./liliProficient in Microsoft Office./li/ul
