Senior Principal Systems Development Engineer

As a Senior Principal Systems Development Engineer at Dell, you will be part of a team that designs and develops cutting-edge electronic and electro-mechanical systems to meet the complex needs of our customers. With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex system requirements for customers, including feasibility studies and analyses of existing systems.
  • Prepare documentation for inspection and testing procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment, leveraging expertise in ML/AI/HPC concepts and applications.
  • Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures for new products.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in related fields, with a strong background in ML/AI/HPC concepts and applications.
  • Experience with large-scale InfiniBand or ethernet and RDMA/RoCE, as well as large cluster deployment and management.
  • Strong experience with GPU performance benchmarking and performance tuning.
  • Desirable: Bachelor's degree and ability to lead and motivate a workgroup.
