About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Platform Management Principal Engineer to join our team. In this newly created position, the selected candidate will be responsible for designing and engineering solutions on computer hardware, software, and networking tools to support cybersecurity platform management.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and inductive thinking.
  • Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organization's tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommend innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership.

Additional Responsibilities and Success Factors:
  • Strong operations and application support background with expertise in writing code, building automation, and enabling DEVOPS and SRE practices.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of front-end software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with vendor software, technologies, and tools that are enterprise solutions.
  • 5+ years of product development or product management experience.
  • 3+ years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience within the Linux and Unix environment.
  • 5+ years of .net experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience developing or supporting IT Service Management solutions (e.g. Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, and Configuration Management).
  • 5+ years of application production support experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
  • Advanced understanding of IT industry frameworks including ITIL, IT4IT, COBIT.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • An industry-standard technology certification.
  • BS/BA degree or higher in a related field.

Job Expectations:
  • This is not a remote position. Candidates are required to work in the office three (3) days per week at the specified location.
