Job Summary

As a Senior Data Operations Manager at Tekfortune, you will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end technical projects within the data space. Your primary goal will be to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will serve as the primary point of contact between cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, product management, and business units, to ensure alignment and collaboration. Additionally, you will take full ownership of projects, providing regular updates, managing risks, and ensuring all project milestones are met with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

~ Project Management:

Effectively manage complex projects, utilizing methodologies such as Agile & Scrum, to deliver high-quality results.


~ Stakeholder Coordination:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.


~ Independent Execution:

Take ownership of projects, providing regular updates, managing risks, and ensuring all project milestones are met.


~ Resource Allocation:

Effectively manage resources, including team members, budgets, and tools, to optimize project outcomes.



Qualifications:

~ Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.


~ Experience:

At least 10 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on data-centric projects within the fintech industry or a similar fast-paced environment.


~ Technical Proficiency:

Strong understanding of data technologies, including databases, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data analytics tools.


~ Project Management Skills:

Proven experience in managing complex projects, utilizing methodologies such as Agile & Scrum.


~ Leadership:

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams towards common goals.


~ Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


~ Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
