Position Overview
As a Fire Safety Inspector III, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding lives by conducting thorough inspections of fire sprinkler systems. This position offers a pathway to a rewarding career as a life safety professional.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include assisting the Lead Fire Sprinkler Inspector in executing routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventive maintenance on life safety product lines, including Electrical, Sprinkler, and Suppression systems.

Specific Duties Include:
- Collaborating with clients to ensure their facilities and occupants are safe and compliant by inspecting and testing fire alarm systems and related devices.
- Completing detailed inspection reports and documentation using communication devices such as laptops and hard copies.
- Adhering to a structured inspection schedule and maintaining accurate records of inspections.
- Performing inspections punctually while prioritizing safety for yourself, colleagues, and clients at all times.
- Executing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel away from home for two weeks each month.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a quick learning ability.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and smartphone usage.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to climb ladders and work with scaffolding and high-lift equipment up to 40 feet.
- Willingness to work in confined spaces such as ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.

Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility to work alternate shifts or weekends as needed to meet client demands.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Desire to complete the Inspector Entrée Course (Electrical or Sprinkler) and OSHA training provided by the company.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals (training will be provided within the first year).
- Familiarity with hand tools and barcode scanners (training will also be provided).

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $18 to $27, based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and alignment with market data.
