Key Responsibilities
  • Establish connections to generate new clients through various sourcing strategies, including face-to-face interactions, virtual outreach, networking, referrals, and public speaking.
  • Thoroughly assess clients' and potential clients' needs, priorities, and concerns to build trust and develop tailored, comprehensive strategies that align with their goals.
  • Manage branch operations to ensure a high-quality, efficient client experience that adheres to firm policies, regulatory standards, and ethical practices.
  • Collaborate with the branch team to create, evaluate, and refine the branch business plan to enhance effectiveness and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the branch characterized by mutual trust, respect, constructive feedback, and accountability.

Requirements

Candidates should possess at least one of the following qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience in the securities or financial services sector.
  • Experience in financial services and/or sales.
  • Relevant financial services registration, licensing, or certification.
  • Demonstrated career progression in a professional or military context.
Licensing:
  • SIE (which can be obtained without Firm sponsorship), Series 7, and Series 66 will be required; if not currently registered, these registrations can be obtained at Edward Jones during the designated paid study period.
  • FINRA registrations must be completed within three months. State insurance licenses will also be necessary.
  • As an associate, you will be required to complete ongoing training mandated by the firm and regulatory authorities (FINRA and SEC), along with necessary continuing education to maintain licenses in good standing.
