Job Title: Sales and Marketing Leader

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Marketing professional to lead our sales teams and drive revenue growth in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing and Market Strategy Development: Collaborate with General Managers and Revenue Managers to develop and implement pricing and market strategies, monitoring competition and market dynamics.
  • Booking Target Achievement and Cost Control: Meet or exceed predetermined booking targets for guest room revenue, ensuring monthly costs and revenue align with budgeted expectations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Responsibly manage inquiry calls, responding promptly within the business day.
  • Sales and Solicitation: Actively seek new and repeat guest room and meeting business through solicitation.
  • Pricing and Service Levels Monitoring: Monitor pricing, service levels, facilities, and function activities at competitive venues to maintain the hotel's competitive position.
  • Business Opportunity Evaluation and Assessment: Evaluate potential business opportunities for profitability and overall benefit to the hotel.
  • Upselling and Customer Service: Demonstrate knowledge and skill in upselling clients while maintaining a high level of service aligned with the luxury status of the facility.
  • Group Function Coordination and Contract Preparation: Coordinate Sales group functions, preparing detailed Sales Contracts and Group Resumes accurately and on time.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of two years experience in hotel sales with a proven track record of success.
  • Market Analysis and STAR Data Understanding: Understand and analyze STAR Data for informed decision-making.
  • Market Conditions and Influencers: Possess an understanding of various market conditions and influencers.
  • Multiple Market Segments: Knowledge of selling in multiple market segments including corporate, SMERF, and association.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills combined with computer, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Decision-Making and Strategizing: Strong decision-making capabilities and strategizing skills.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
