About the Position

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal reporting requirements for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The successful candidate will enforce policies on independent local contractors administering contracts for HUD, specifically for Moderate Rehabilitation, Family Self Sufficiency, 811, and Voucher Homeownership programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Authorize and execute housing assistance payment contracts for participating property owners
  • Process authorized manual payment adjustments for landlords
  • Review and submit corrections to tenant records that have been submitted to HUD
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies of various HUD reports
  • Assist in the administration of HUD Housing Choice Voucher Section 8 programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, Human Resources, Paralegal, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least three years applicable experience in subsidized housing
