As the head of project teams, the Program Coordinator will manage a diverse array of initiatives with a primary emphasis on IT-focused projects, including the deployment of a new data management system.

This initiative is intricate and will entail some demanding joint team management.

The ideal candidate should excel at cultivating and nurturing positive relationships while adeptly balancing the need to assert authority with the ability to yield when necessary.

Above all, we seek an individual who is resourceful, diligent, self-assured, and, most importantly, a solution-oriented thinker.

Essential skills for this role include the capability to comprehend the scope and deliverables of a project to prepare and monitor a project plan, timeline, and budget.

The Program Coordinator will oversee the daily management of all facets of a specific project, including stakeholder management, implementation, oversight, and assessment of projects.

This position also aims to enhance internal processes and improve project management standard operating procedures that regulate the project life cycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning
o Develop a comprehensive work plan that identifies and sequences the activities necessary for successful project completion
o Determine the resources (time, cost, personnel, etc.) required for project completion
o Review the project scope, resources, and schedule with senior management and all other staff impacted by the project activities; adjust the schedule as needed

  • Execution
o Implement the project according to the work plan
o Ensure that all project information is properly documented and secured
o Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
o Establish a communication strategy to keep stakeholders informed on progress and mitigate or escalate project-related risks
o Manage key stakeholders, including internal subject matter experts, clients, and vendors
o Oversee and approve all budgeted project expenditures as required

  • Assessment
o Ensure that project deliverables are timely, consistent with contractual obligations, and meet quality standards
o Evaluate project outcomes based on the objectives and metrics established during the planning phase

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; PMP certification is highly preferred, along with the ability to adapt and comply with internal project management standards and practices.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience as a project manager for relevant IT enterprise projects, specifically Data Management system builds/implementations, and at least one year of personnel management experience.
  • Ability to document systems and business requirements and create technical documentation and artifacts.
  • Proven experience in: Collaborating effectively with others to set goals, resolve issues, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness; Assessing situations to determine importance, urgency, and risks, and making clear, timely decisions in the best interests of the organization; Setting priorities, developing work schedules, monitoring progress towards goals, and tracking details/data/information/activities; Solving problems by identifying causes, gathering and processing relevant information, generating possible solutions, and making recommendations or resolving issues.
  • Must be highly adaptable, organized, and detail-oriented, with exceptional time management skills.
  • Must possess strong English communication and writing skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across functions.
  • Requires a solid working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with Clarizen project management software is highly desired. Familiarity with LucidChart, JIRA, and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned, either temporarily or permanently, based on company needs.
  • Completion of GCP training (provided by Corrona).
