Position Summary: We are seeking a Controls Low-Voltage Foreman to oversee our installation teams responsible for the deployment of conduits, wiring, and devices integral to energy management systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that installations meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and implement project documentation, including blueprints and specifications, to ensure accurate execution of installation tasks.
  • Guide and mentor installation apprentices and technicians in the field, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and communicate detailed plans for wire and conduit runs to the installation team.
  • Execute the installation of control panels and associated wiring using standard electrical tools.
  • Install junction boxes and other electrical connection devices with precision.
  • Manage the installation of conduit and cabling systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on circuits, wiring, and network devices, utilizing a multimeter as needed.
  • Represent the team in job site meetings, discussing workflow, scheduling, and project progress.
  • Construct and wire Building Automation System (BAS) control panels, either in-shop or on-site.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10+ years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting while maintaining professionalism.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

  • Expertise in control systems and energy management technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a positive demeanor.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks requiring lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
