Position Title: Low-Voltage Foreman

Department: Controls

FLSA Status: Hourly

Reports to: Field Operations Supervisor, General Manager

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Low-Voltage Foreman to oversee installation teams responsible for implementing conduit, wiring, and equipment associated with energy management systems. This role requires a strong leader who can ensure the successful execution of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and execute project documents, including blueprints and specifications, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide guidance and training to installation apprentices and team members in the field.
  • Develop and communicate plans for wire and conduit runs to ensure efficient installation.
  • Install control panels and associated wiring using standard electrical tools.
  • Set up junction boxes and other electrical connection devices as required.
  • Manage the installation of conduit and cabling systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on circuits, wiring, and devices as necessary.
  • Participate in job site meetings to discuss workflow, scheduling, and project progress.
  • Construct and wire Building Automation System (BAS) control panels, both in-shop and on-site.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in control systems and related technologies.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and maneuvering equipment.
