Compensation: $28-$31/hour
Role Overview:
The Installation Technician II is tasked with delivering top-notch installation services for electronic security systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that all operations adhere to company standards, contractual obligations, and relevant laws and regulations, while also meeting corporate objectives such as revenue growth, profitability, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. Please note that this position requires 100% travel within and outside of the primary assigned region. The ideal candidate should possess a strong eagerness to learn about the installation and maintenance of various technologies, systems, and devices related to electronic security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inventory assessments of materials
- Cut, bend, and install conduits
- Document data across various platforms and systems
- Install low voltage cabling and wiring
- Mount electronic security devices onto diverse surfaces
- Provide updates and information to both internal and external stakeholders
- Execute additional duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
- Clean Background Check and Acceptable Credit History
- Valid Driver's License (Real ID) with a Clean Driving Record
- Willingness to travel 100% of the time within and outside of the primary assigned region
- Availability for overtime as required
- Must possess a Taxpayer ID and Certificate of Insurance - preferably own an LLC
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of regulations and standards pertaining to Electronic Security Systems (e.g., AR 190-11, AFI 31-101, ESE-SIT-0001, ICD 705, UL 2050, ADA, NFPA 70, NFPA 101)
- High Lift Safety Certification
- Ladder Safety Training
- OSHA-10 Safety Certification
- Basic knowledge of circuitry and electrical concepts
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical cable and wire pulling, including CAT6
- Experience with conduit cutting, bending, and installation
- Proficient in mounting devices to various surfaces (drywall, concrete, metal)
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- High Lift Safety Certification
- Ladder Safety Training
- OSHA-10 Safety Certification
