Job Overview

Role Summary:
Every day, the donors you interact with will inspire you. The high-quality plasma you collect will contribute to life-saving therapies. Here, a dedication to customer service and excellence is paramount. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will function as a plasma donor screener while performing phlebotomy to support the operations of the plasma center.
Your Contributions:
- Answer incoming calls and warmly greet our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Screen both new and returning donors, taking and documenting vital signs and finger stick results.
- Utilize our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain precise records, and manage donor compensation.
- Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and initiate improvements to center processes following company-approved procedures.
- Be available for our donors, which may include working various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the work shift.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical capability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. regularly, with occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely up to 50 lbs.
- Fine motor skills, depth perception, and the ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, 90% of work tasks will require prolonged glove wear.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer or patient-facing role is preferred.
